I work with individuals who may be finding themselves a bit lost or stuck, or like their emotions are challenging. You may feel overwhelmed, frayed, numb, or like life is just too hard or not working for you. You may know you have so much to gift to the world, but just can’t seem to make it all click.

About NeuroEmotional Coaching:
In this modality, you are supported with an awareness to the state of your brain and Nervous System. In familiarizing yourself with, and bringing a sense of safety and acceptance to your emotional states, your inner threat mechanism and alarm can soften and stop over firing so often. When this alarm in your system lowers, you’re able to operate from the part of the brain that is calm, clear, confident, creative, good at decision making, and knows what to do.
When you’re no longer putting all of your energy into surviving and protecting yourself and your prefrontal cortex is back online, you are able to make your own decisions and remember and know what is best for you in life. You are able to return to a state of growth and repair, where slowly and gradually, chronic symptoms, anxiety, preoccupations and fears can begin to subside and eventually fall away.

In these 60 minute, one on one sessions, we will have an opportunity to look at anything that is going on for you, and any emotions that are coming up through a safe and compassionate lens, helping to build your capacity and focus on what is important for you in life.
About me
I began my healing journey in 2017 amidst my own challenges with increasing chronic and neurological symptoms. Exploring ways to navigate the coinciding stress and anxiety, I ended up moving to Maine and became certified as a yoga instructor, teaching classes and private instruction.
Though that helped me at the time, I still struggled a lot. Over the next few years, I continued searching for ways to truly just feel better. Slowly, I received my own therapeutic, emotional and somatic support and studied and explored practices for nervous system and emotional healing. I came to realize how supporting my own system to feel safer can allow my body to naturally unwind patterns of trauma, tension, pain and symptoms and instead move towards greater ease, flexibility and freedom in my life.
In particular, co-regulating with practitioners with their own resourced nervous systems was instrumental in finding this safety. This was a big step in my ability to self soothe. In allowing myself to be held by these resourced individuals, I was able to use the imprint of that care and model it for myself, bit by bit, in moments of dysregulation in my own life.
Through my continued training, I developed a particular interest in modalities including Deb Dana’s Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems Thearapy and Somatics. I am now a NeuroEmotional Coach through the Center for Emotional Education.
In my spare time I love walking by the ocean, reading fiction books (namely historical fiction has been my favorite lately!), flower gardening and playing piano.
